Welcome to the Medicines Management Group Website for Northland Te Taitokerau covering the 3 Districts: Whangarei, Kaipara, Mid-Far North.

This group currently oversees medication Standing Orders (SO) for the use in Primary Care and the Community clinics.

The MMG-N is made up of a number of clinicians authorised prescribers, designated nurse prescribers and a community pharmacist. The MMG-N have developed SO to allow nurses to assist patients equitable and continued access to healthcare and as a complimentary service provision within GP practices.

To access this website and the Standing Orders a login is required which will gain entry to the processes of using Standing Orders.
