Welcome to the Medicines Management Group Website for Northland Te Tai Tokerau covering the 3 Districts: Whangarei, Kaipara, Mid-Far North.

This group currently oversees medication Standing Orders (SO) for the use in Primary Care and the Community Clinics.

The MMG-N is made up of a number of clinicians authorised prescribers, designated nurse prescribers and a community pharmacist. The MMG-N have developed SO to allow nurses to assist patients equitable and continued access to healthcare and as a complimentary service provision within GP practices.
